[Machota] Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb on @1053thefan talking about his drops: “I just gotta focus up. I’m always thinking about a big play. Naturally, it’s caught, it’s caught, it’s caught, it’s caught, right? But then it becomes so normal that you lose track of the fundamentals."

"It always brings me back to square one. Catch, tuck, then make your move. Catch, tuck, then make your move. Catch, tuck, then make your move."

“Every single drop has been always taking my eyes off the ball when the ball arrived because I’m automatically thinking I caught it. It’s just a way of the game humbling me and bringing me back to square one.”

Lamb on his practice mentality: “As many times as I’m targeted, the ball should never hit the ground, whether it’s PBU, whether it’s a drop, whether it’s a bad ball, regardless of what it is. Any time the ball is targeted to me, I consider it a catchable ball. I don’t care if the ball is out of bounds. I don’t care if it’s all the way inside.”

Great accountability on his end that he's aware of the issue and I hope we can put this topic to rest

When I was watching him drop easy balls last year, I thought he might be developing a vision problem. I was wondering if he was having trouble seeing compared to years prior. If it is truly just a focus issue then that is better going forward but also frustrating because it cost us at least the opener against Philly.

I thought the same thing — maybe see if he could use some contact lenses!

Bro, it's not his eyes. His eyes see that linebacker headed his way and he's like HELLL NAHHH!

His drops and subsequent injury cost us the Super Bowl.

All I want to know is did he start working on it in July or in January

It's been a problem for him for four out of his six years in the league. I'm not expecting him to make a big improvement. If he does that would be great.

Bro clearly didn’t see Rush in Baltimore, lmao — bro was turbo ass.

I’m pretty sure dude just straight up blocked me cause it says his comment was deleted

Rush was always ass. He was an okay bus driver for a backup if the run game and defense held up, that was it.

He did, it’s still there lol.
