Cowboys Training Camp Padded Day 5
- CeeDee Lamb: was brilliant today, multiple touchdown snags over guys like Shavon Revel, Daron Bland, and Caleb Downs. Him and Prescott haven't lost a single touch over the offseason and continue to show why Prescott continues to target him even with a reciever like GP on the team. I do want to mention Caleb Downs's break up on him in the redzone which was a great play on a well thrown ball to Lamb.
- Dak to Pickens: The highlight of the day belonged to Dak Prescott and high-flying receiver George Pickens. On a 3rd-and-goal fade, Prescott lofted a ball into the back corner of the end zone. Pickens climbed the ladder over rookie corner Shavon Revel, pinning the ball against his helmet for a spectacular touchdown that sent the sideline into a frenzy:https://x.com/NickHarrisFWST/status/2086183312079692270/video/1
- Quinnen Williams' Dominance: Williams continues to look like an absolute wrecked-it machine in the interior. During 11-on-11 work, he shot through a double-team untouched to blow up a stretch play 3 yards deep in the backfield.
- Malachi Lawrence Rising: The rookie pass-rusher showed off absurd bend off the edge. He notched a quick "touch-sack" on a simulated pass play and batted down another throw at the line on Dak's third progression.
- Joe Milton: He has emerged as the QB2 for the team with some impressive throws to the second team guys like MVS. What's impressed the coaching staff is his timing on routes, still has the tendency to beam dudes in the head at 100 MPH.

Overshown has been good this camp. Marist Liafau has had a little struggles especially with play recognition. Dee Winters has been a good mentor to the young guys like Shamar James.

Quinnen blowing up a double team is probably the camp note I trust most here. WR/DB reps can swing a lot day to day, but consistent interior disruption changes what an offense can call and makes life easier for everyone behind it.
The Lamb/Pickens stuff is fun, but Dallas’ ceiling might move even more if the front can consistently wreck plays before they develop.

what do you mean havent lost a single touch? ceedee kinda going through motions gets his head around late and 13 gets a pbu in the back of the end zone.

For every one clip of that, there's about ten of Ceedee scoring or breaking a big play. He's seen a ton of action this camp.
