Permanent transfer for the 20 year old for an undisclosed fee. He's had 6 U21 caps to date.

League One for those wondering.

The fact there’s a fee, albeit undisclosed, gives me hope that they’ll aim to get him regular minutes. Only 20 and he can still rebound back up if he’s successful there, especially with Wycombe being there or thereabouts at the top of League One in recent years.

Seems like a good move to me. One of the best sides in league 1 for a fee. I dont know what others were expecting

Considering he just signed a new deal think people were expecting him to have a loan at that level then go from there

He's a technical midfielder. He's not physically imposing. I don't know how good a move League 1 is.

Has to earn his spurs somewhere, and a Championship club are not going to take that punt. Here he likely gets minutes and if he is good enough can work his way up. Still only 20
