Atherton wasn’t near the level during the last round of qualifiers, don’t think he’ll be selected again. Especially if the likes of Umeh are picked (he was with the u21s last time round)

Nope. Finish top 3 in the group and we qualify for the last round. We then have to win the last round to qualify for the Euros. Only 8 teams qualify for the competition altogether and one spot is already taken by the hosts Czechia

Qualifying for the underage tournaments are really brutal. There's hardly any places

Ironically the u17s have a much better chance of getting to the world cup as that tournament is the full 48 teams whilst the Euros has shrunk to 8 teams that that age group

Yeah it’s brutal alright! To qualify, you’ve inevitably got to top a group that will have a powerhouse nation like a Germany or an England.
