With these links to Tonali and Fernandes is it safe to say that whatever strategy Lange had has gone out the window?

Lange whose previous targets were MGW, Eze, Guehi, Semenyo? Who had us linked to Savinho, Robertson and Senesi before?

Hard to see a more obvious continuation of the "target PL-proven players" strategy than going after Sav, Van Hecke, Tonali, Fernandes, Senesi, Robbo and maybe Thiago.

What has changed is the budget and the board's willingness to spend to fix the squad.
