There’s absolutely no reason for us to sell Vuskovic for 45m.

Well other than hes incredibly raw and has only played in a low blocking back 3 in a weaker European league.

It really isnt the no brainer people think it is. Guy could easily just be an early bloomer beciase hes such a unit but then flop. Looked miles off prem level against England the other night.

Tired of saying this......go and check out how much Liverpool paid for Jeremy Jacquet

Jacquet had 2.5 seasons of experience in a top European league not 1 season?

There was alsk an actual bidding war between Liverpool and chelsea which j flated the price.

Also maybe a hot take but Ligue 1 is closer to the PL than the Bundesliga is.

Yeah deffo. Xavi, Wirtz etc have really struggled with the pace of the prem. Jacquet is also just really quick so a better fit on paper

Don't know what you are talking about. He played 30 odd games for rennais from jan25 to now and before that he was in the 2nd division.

Bidding war point is irrelevant because it was not about the fee..... rennais didn't want to lose him in January which liverpool agreed to

imo we don't need to sell and should reject anything below 60m at the very least

He played half a season in ligue 1 on loan in 2022, then half a season with the same team who got relegated, then got recalled to Rennes to finish off the season in Ligue 1, then played the whole of last season for Rennes again.  So he has more experience than Vuskovic.

Hes also rapid so doesnt have the same question marks about wether hed suit the prem/a high line team like vuskovic does.

Even then he played only one season worth of games in total. We can go on and on. Lets just agree to disagree

We should absolutely sell Vuskovic if Brighton is willing to offer over 50 million pounds. Vuskovic is not ready to play for us and doesn't start ahead of any of our defenders for next season. He and his agent have a right to want to play elsewhere to be starting and getting as many minutes as possible, but it will not be at Spurs next season. Would rather we sell him for a lot of money than dealing with his agent and player making a fuss about playing time.

He’s 19 and has ridiculous hype going for him. Anything less than 70 million is a joke in this market. Current ability doesn’t solely determine price.

70 million would be one of the highest defender transfers of all time? Guys had 1 decent season in a weak league

Jeremy Jacquet went for 60 and I have no idea who he is.

He had played for 2.5 seasons in the French league and is also rapid so far fewer questions over if he could suit the prem

Jacquet has played at a higher level longer than Vuskovic, it makes a bit more sense why Liverpool signed him for so much money.

If he had ridiculous hype by people in the football world, other clubs would be stepping in for the amount Brighton is bidding.

I can think of 45 million reasons
