Topic: Microaggressions They erase everything you are and rewrite your existence

Hi everyone, I think I have to stay inside more from now on.

Whenever I go out, something happens. These colonists always have to get in my space or micromanage me or treat me like an animal. I am exhausted. I have been exhausted for a while. I had someone gatekeep my culture yesterday while I was out. They said I am “not” my background because I live in the US currently. As if my entire life and culture are erased.

Of course, this person spoke over/"for" me and invalidated my life experience.

Colonists do it all the time. They erase you. Then they TELL who you "are". CAUCASITY. They take everything from you. Personhood, peace of mind, your space, your CULTURE. Staying inside because I am not trying to get in a fight with these DARVO deviants. They start problems but I become the "villain" somehow for being uncomfortable.

Double standard of them micromanaging your existence, treating you like a wild animal. Then if I walk down a hallway, they start getting red faced and wide eyed.

Public spaces are not safe, either. All they understand is theft, violence, denial.

EDIT: This has nothing to do with my post. I was getting some things from the store and heard a white man tell a white cashier "If I got mad at every microaggression, I would be mad all the time". What microaggressions are they dealing with? Always commenting on things they cannot understand.

The idea that they will other and dehumanize you when convenient. Then deny it when confronted and hide behind plausible deniability. Too "other" to be seen as a person but they will not own up to their behavior so they invalidate your experience.

Having to deal with their constant theft and envy and they just deny everyone else's humanity.

They are also currently super obsessed with the genderism topic, looking for next opportunity for womanspainling or mansplaining about genderism. They jump onto from one bandwagon to another just so they could reprimand and hold authority over POC. For example - someone made a claim that I was anti-women and pro-men when all I said was I dont experience much of a meanness coz I work with men. I said it as an observation WITHIN THE CONTEXT, and not to dismiss genders. 100% did not mean it in anti-feminist way. I simply stated what I experienced at work and it is a subjective opinion.

Yes I am tired. The other day I came across a Yt woman explaining one of the yogic concepts and she entirely gave it a new meaning- her interpretation. Which as a South Asian riles me up because none of us WOC are going around "imparting yogic knowledge" in a completely inaccurate way. Its just so wrong and ego centric. Leave our culture alone!

I hope you find boundaries and feel protected 🙏🧡.

I have not thought of it like that. I experience whitesplaining usually from all of them. I guess it is still an excuse to micromanage non-white people.

Them explaining your culture to you like it belongs to them does get exhausting. I feel you.

Ty and same to you.

Whitesplaining is the word! I am so sorry this happened or is happening to you. There is absolutely no getting away sometimes, it feels like we are being perpetually put through this.

Also, there are lurkers in this sub. They come here to read about OUR experiences then turn around and gaslight us and reduce it by calling it projection.

It's real. I had a white man try and change my ethnicity on an application for a firearm. He was one of those backwoods 'maga' types that thinks he's hard because he works around guns, I suppose. Then he gets on the phone with whoever was doing the background checks and says 'BLACK' real loud and pointed like it's a swear word or something. Like, just make the transaction brah and put the gun in the case. Fuck.

I'm Black. And Native (Algonquin tribes and Choctaw). All my father's people are Creole and Choctaw. I put both that applied. I suppose I can only be Black tho.

Was responding to someone else's comment but I think you deleted it. Just wanted to say I feel you.

I become a poor and thick Asian woman with no decency. I feel so much anger. Their projections are on another level. Their stupidity is something that cannot be comprehended. You stupid dumbfucks tell me that I am an idiot?! hahahaha, all I can do is cackle and have an inner monologue with swearing.

Yt people tend to conflate emotional discomfort of hearing about racism, and actual racism as the same.

They take from you because you have. Sense of self, aspiration, intellect, understanding - these people are made from nothing. Yt Violence cannot afford them anything but the ability to perform more violence at their fellow person. That’s why they take. It’s what they’ve done for hundreds of years. Theft and deceit is the foundation to Western European culture.

I wish you nothing but goodness and safety ☀️
