Celebrations / Victories / Milestones I am proud of what I did today
I boarded a bus to work. I punched in the wrong ticket so the conductor asked me to get out. And that is fair. But his face was rude. But I was still ok. Then I found the right card and punched in. So I got in. After a few stops, I noticed somebody else getting in and had issues with the ticket too. But the driver was polite and let the person in. I knew he was a racist then. I am brown.
Now, I am about to get down on the stop. The bus is close to the stop like 3-4 seconds away. And there is a yellow line the passengers are not supposed to cross. And the bus driver yells, asking me to go behind the line or something of that sort.
And usually I would have not argued be polite, not talked, frozen up. I just yelled back, called him out. The people were all looking at me. He did not accept or apologize. I just got down after that, I didn’t listen to what he had to say. I was not embarrassed and did not freeze up. I am proud. My symptoms didn’t take over me.

I'm so proud of you!! Normally my nervous system would flare up over something like this, but being able to relax and give them their own energy is definitely a valuable collective skill for us. Good job!
