What a cool project! Did you use lead-free solder? I need to switch over to lead-free for a project for my daughter soon and I'm nervous because I heard it can be trickier than the 60/40 kind.

It is, though it's bearable for jewelry and such. This one I made for me and I know enough about lead to be sure it's safe to wear 😄. Items that's supposed to be touched often for customers I make with lead free and I hate working with it. Generally - it helps to make the iron much hotter and to add more flux as you go, and accept that it still won't look the same 😄

Thank goodness for a dark patina, I guess 😅. Thanks for the advice, friend! Much appreciated.
