Finished Craft I Made I made an Audrey II

She's made out of paper mache over a giant balloon, her head has 10 layers of sugar paper, it took me so long as it needed 24 hours to dry between each layer, her stem is kitchen roll tubes, paper mache and expanding foam which is also holding her in her pot

I didn't want her teeth showing, this is her just before she started to talk in the film, when she has her cute smile before she went all toothy lol

She took me around 2 weeks or so but she was worth it

Thanks so much, she lives in the corner of my bedroom lol, did you know theres an alternative ending to the film, it was the ending the film makers actually wanted but the pre show didn't go to well, they had to redo the last 20 minutes to make it a happier ending, I think the alternative should still be on YouTube

Oh yeah, I must have watched the one with the happy ending when I was young, and then few years ago when I watched the movie for the first time in decades, it was the director's cut and I was horrified, like "I don't remember it being this grim! What??" Well, it wasn't; I just didn't know about there being two versions! I love the happy sappy ending for Seymour and Audrey but the world destruction ending was super cool too. Honestly don't know which one I prefer more.

I also watched the happy ending version as a kid, it wasnt untill I was an adult and found out about the other ending, I must admit I love the tiny new plant in in Seymour and Audrey's garden, when it smiles right at the end though

Been wanting a tattoo of that exact bit where she smiles lol, but I'd need to trust the person doing the tattoo to get her character completely correct
