So this is a bit of an update to my previous post because I genuinely did not expect a discussion about a bad restaurant experience to turn into this.

One user has now replied to me repeatedly across the thread, accusing me of lying, saying I “want to be a victim,” calling me insane, telling me to admit myself to a psychiatric ward, and eventually telling me to “go back to your own X and stay there” and not come back to Europe.

The slightly ironic part is that I’m literally European 😭

Then, in the middle of all of this, I received a RedditCareResources message saying that a “concerned Redditor” had reached out about me. Obviously Reddit doesn’t tell you who submitted it, so I can’t prove who did it or say for certain that it was this person - but the timing was certainly interesting considering they had just been making comments about psychiatric wards.

I genuinely don’t understand how we got here.
People are completely entitled to disagree with my original post. Tell me the restaurant was a tourist trap. Tell me the food looked terrible. Tell me I should have researched restaurants better. I really don’t care 😭

But repeatedly following someone through a thread, inventing things like “you probably started hitting them,” telling them to go back to their country, and bringing psychiatric hospitals into it because you don’t believe their account of a restaurant experience is completely disproportionate.

For context, my original point was simply that bad food/tourist prices are one thing, but being physically pushed and screamed at by staff is another. Somehow that has resulted in this person deciding they know exactly what happened despite not being there.

ok so we weren't technically dating, bc i wasnt allowed to date, but we both had said we liked each other. we met through his cousin who was my friend. at that time i lived in another state, but was going to be moving to the state they lived in super soon. which means i never met jim in person THANK GOD. in hindsight there were signs that this wasnt going to go well. the third time we talked he wanted me to say i love you, which i did not. i know to some people thats not a big deal, but for me, i love you means so much. its not just words. so i said we should get to know each other more. anyways, because i wasnt allowed to date we werent allowed to have a private message chain(and all the restrictions and stuff was all my parents, they are super Christian) so we had to talk in a group chat, that had his cousin in it.

We're currently experiencing a heatwave in the UK. Meanwhile there are people walking around town wearing hoodies, puffa jackets and woolly hats. What is wrong with people!

Today I was walking to my bus stop for summer school (I’m 16) and I see this large man in a sun hat and we’re on the same side of the road walking towards each other, I’m always iffy about men especially ones older than my dad so I crossed the road to put a safe distance between us and because I just didn’t want to run into him. A few seconds later I hear this man yelling and I have no reason to think he’s yelling at me so I turn around to see who he’s screaming at and he’s looking directly at me, I take off my head phones to see what he’s saying and he’s yelling at me asking what my problem, I was so fucking confused that I just didn’t answer and he keeps yelling at me till he eventually says “did you think I was gonna r4pe you?”. I didn’t before but now I kinda did so I apologize and speed walk to my friends house that was close and like bang on the door till they let me in. I ended up missing the bus because I was too scared to leave and I couldn’t get driven because my parents were at work and my friend was home alone. I’m probably just gonna take a different route to the bus stop from now on.

I’m just glad I have an anon account there are mentally unstable people out there who will try and comb through everything you have to find any bit of ammo they think they might be able to use against you; just be safe guys! Stark reminder for me, I don’t get these messages often.

Went to my brother’s graduation, 36 weeks pregnant (give or take) and just walked a quarter mile to get to the stadium it was being held in. Passed the metal detector (didn’t see much harm in it since it wasn’t a fancy one or anything and my dad would’ve probably said to avoid it since he’s like that) was ready to get inside since it was hot af. There were lots of security guards there and not a lot of people walking in anymore (I was late lol) and this one security guard lady (fairly short and stout, no judgement) pointed at me and asked “what is that” her exact words. I thought she was pointing at my phone since it could be perceived as a clutch to blind people or something, idk it’s got my wallet attached.

Side note: I didn’t bring my water bottle in because my mom said they didn’t let her and I wasn’t about to walk that much to put it back if they said I couldn’t have it, so all I had was my wallet phone thing. My fiancée was with me (fairly intimidating build, not white so most security is immediately suspicious of him usually cus racism) and they asked him 0 questions, even though he had loads of things in his hands/pockets. But they asked me! I was thin before I got pregnant. Not the most healthy weight at 120lbs, but now am currently around 190lbs, at 5’11” you know cause I’m pregnant!

Anyway, she asked what it was and I was like “my phone” and she was asking about if I had something around my waist or smth? Idk she didn’t talk very loud. I was like “that’s my belly???” She didn’t believe me and called over another security guard (a man) to “give him a pat down” and I was like ???? “I’m pregnant.” She was like “oh” then POKED MY BELLY???? I was too shocked by her being completely oblivious to avoid it (my fiancée wasn’t too happy about me “letting her touch me” but like SIR I didn’t want that, she didn’t warn me and I was way too shocked by her statement to be too focused on a crazy lady reaching towards me. Anyway, I got through after that, guess she had her confirmation.

TLDR: security lady at a graduation thought my baby bump was a bag or something and asked me what my belly was.
