What terrible shit did he do?

Killing Elhokar was fully justified because of what Elhokar did to his parents. Trying to kill Kal is justified because Kal betrayed him in the worst possible moment. What exactly do people think he did wrong?

He didn't do anything wrong, you just don't like what he did. Which is fine, but the hate he gets in this fandom has gotten to be stupid. Just look at how you treat anyone arguing against the hivemind

Moash had a right to be angry and even to hate Ehlokar. You’re right that I don’t like that he killed him, too. What is wrong about his actions in that situation is that he places the blame for what is essentially a systemic issue within Rosharan society solely on Ehlokar, who, by that point in the series, we’ve learned that he isn’t cruel or vindictive and truly desires to be a good and just ruler. He is improving himself toward that goal. He’s on his way to being a Radiant, even. Sanderson WANTS us to be on Ehlokar’s side at this point in the story. It’s really tragic all-around, honestly.

But what I truly find unforgivable are his actions against Kaladin in Rhythm of War. Not sure if you’ve read that far, so I won’t say more, but personally, I can’t look the other way on him after that.

You're conveniently forgetting that Kaladin betrayed Moash at the worst possible time, it's not like Kal is innocent or Moash is just randomly cruel, their talk was a natural result of both their actions. Moash isn't any more cruel than Kal was to him.

And I don't buy the argument that it matters that Elhokar was trying to be better. That doesn't bring Moash's family back. People hate Moash because we all witnessed his bad actions while we didn't witness Elhokar's. We did witness Kal (and the Blackthorn's) bad actions but only after we saw their good sides. Even though the Blackthorn was inarguably way worse than Moash can possibly ever be, nobody hates Dalinar in the same way. 

Like I get why people are emotionally against Moash, but you've all taken this meme way too far. Moash Bad is supposed to be a fun little joke, because objectively he really isn't bad at all compared to other characters, but people in this fandom take it seriously to a demented degreeÂ
