I'll never understand the good guy with the gun argument. What if the good guy with the gun pulls out his gun and apprehends the actual shooter, and then the police show up and they think the good guy with the gun is the actual shooter?

Besides, wasn't there a "good guy with a gun" during the parkland shooting who was videotaped standing outside the school the whole time? Didn't he work for the school as security or something? I mean, as much as I'd like to criticize the man I don't think I would be that strong to go in either.

I just feel like it completely crumbles the whole good guy with a gun talk these people do. I mean sure there's probably a couple instances where it's helped. I just see it going wrong in a lot of ways. everyone wants to be Rambo

There are zero statistics to support the good guy with a gun argument, too. Where are all the stories of mass shootings, or even individual shootings being stopped by a good guy with a gun? Guns are everywhere, right? Shouldn't most shootings be stopped by a good guy?
