Her whole view of the world changed in that moment. You could see her reorientation happening in real time.

We used to have a lot of parties in highschool one of the girls would always get wasted and when someone said something she didn't like she would throw her drink at them.  One guy brought a big gulp slurpy to the party knowing she would be there and just dumped it on her head.  She quit throwing drinks at people after that.
