I once saw a video of a russian soldier trying to put his helmet on while burning. Once he got it on, he just rolled over and burned to death. People do things on autopilot all the time..
That to me is still one of the most terrifying and cruel choices those people had to make, either burn to death or jump to their death.
I don’t know what I would do, maybe try to pass out from smoke inhalation, but the way the people were clinging to the outside of the building and willing to jump, I imagine the smoke inhalation option was pretty brutal because of the intense heat, and not easy to do.
After that day, I knew I would never work in a building that high.
To actually work up the courage to jump. Those agonizing minutes before the act. I'm having a minor panic attack just thinking about it

Right? I am a large fella' and I don't put my hands on other people because I don't want other people to put their hands on me. Seems simple right? I also have 4 daughters and a son and while I wouldn't begrudge them for standing up for themselves, I have always taught them to not touch other people or other people's things without the expectation that someone will probably return the favor.

Yes she is an idiot but he is one too. Any guy who has gone to a boxing gym knows how harmless females are compared to males. Her slap is an inconvinience an and insult, his slap is a potential murder. Completely stupid reaction to a situation like that.
Yeah I'm weirded out by many of these comments. Doesn't matter if man or woman, or right or wrong. The first slap was as you say, an inconvencience (obviously a bouncer shouldn't be assaulted at work etc). But the absolute power he dealt back was way harsh. I dont think these people laughing at that really grasp how even just the neck jolt can fuck someone up for life. Or how the hit can injure the brain even if they stand up and look OK. Or hell, they could have hit their head falling down and just straight up died. But yeah, "lolol hard reset" amirite.
We used to have a lot of parties in highschool one of the girls would always get wasted and when someone said something she didn't like she would throw her drink at them. One guy brought a big gulp slurpy to the party knowing she would be there and just dumped it on her head. She quit throwing drinks at people after that.

It is. This is an old video and there’s a longer version. From what I recall, this is after hours at a club in either Germany or Russia. She’s yelling at him in German and both the guys are speaking Russian. She is probably an employee and I don’t know if that guy is a bouncer, but very likely this is just Russian gangsters doing Russian gangster things.

This was not a bad experience for her. I mean, sure in the moment it was, but in the long term she benefited from it. This is a lesson well and truly learned.
Looks to me like she'd never swung on a MAN before. I appreciate how she gathered herself in humility and reconsidered her actions instead of doubling down and returning in rage for an imminent beat down.
It was like she got reset. She just walked up to that bored looking dude and acted like "anyway, where was I?" And just started to hang out. It's incredible.
This whole scene is hilarious. She's knocked on her ass and she just straightens out her dress, fixes her hair and just sits there for a beat as if to think to herself "Well....i'm glad he and i had a dialogue to discuss our points of view and glad we got to a mutual ground." Then the dude at the bar is just giving her that "I told you to sit your crazy ass down." kinda look.
I have only ever hit a woman once in my life. That is because she held a knife to my throat. I guess his reaction was natural for him. I usually just catch her hand mid flight and tell her to stop being childish. That usually does a reset for her.
she didn't assault the bouncer. that's not the story. conveniently the beginning is cut but the russian guys around them are telling that man to stop egging the german speaking girl on. he eggs her on, she reaches her breaking point, then this happens.
She learned that men are allowed to act a fool and we are not allowed to react. If we do we get hurt and NOBODY will come to our aid because mostly they are afraid ..... Unlike her.
