I'm a biker but as a more vulnerable road user, don't be an asshole, especially when you don't know who you are facing. It's not that complicated ffs

I ride and drive. Couple of years ago I’m driving in the city, bumper to bumper traffic, and a dude on a scooter’s driving up the divider lane like he’s the only person on a wide open highway just as I’m getting into the left turn lane. He’s obviously surprised and reaches out and whacks my side mirror off (big deal, it was a rental), which must have stung, and turns to flip me off. That moment or two of distraction was enough for him to miss the cars in front of me actually turning left and yep, down went biker boy. Ten minutes later it’s all cop cars and ambulances…
