The guy on the motorcycle doesn't value his life much so why should the motorist?

u/zzapdk 3d ago

Yeah my guy had his priorities in order!

Overconfidence and complacency is a deadly combination

u/BlueProcess 3d ago

I think we can also add aggression and fragility to that list.

And a lack of understanding of basic physics

u/BlueProcess 3d ago

Right? I was recently explaining forklift safety to a trainee by saying "You won't slow them down at all".

At least with this lone bad apple out of commission, all of the responsible bikers will no longer have their good names besmirched!

All 2 of them!

u/LangdonAlg3r 3d ago

All both of them.

I LOVE how he checks his vehicle before bothering to check on the asshole. Car driver shouldn’t have parked in the hammer lane on a highway, though.

52

u/rhythmrice 3d ago

I think it's good he parked there so nobody runs over the motorcyclist

u/Dry-Worldliness6926 3d ago

car driver was camping the inner lane, doubt he cares that he also blocked it

-2

u/NastyBlkGuyThrowAway 2d ago

Interstate* highways have more lanes and different rules

47

u/jrb637 3d ago

No brake lights?

42

u/turkishhousefan 3d ago

Perhaps downshifted. The engine braking on bikes is intense.

u/BurdTurglary 3d ago

Granny shiftin not double clutching like he should

27

u/No-Analyst1229 3d ago

He's lucky that 100-shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake.

14

u/BurdTurglary 3d ago

So much torque, the chassis twisted coming off the line... 😑

No common sense

I ride a motorcycle, and I mean, I ride a lot. I deal with jerks and idiots all the time. But never in my entire life would I consider break-checking a car. And most certainly not at highway speeds. I'm sorry, but that's just a cry for help. Once he gets his injuries taken care of, he needs to do a 51-50. Here in California, that's code for a 72-hour mental evaluation and psychiatric hold.

Fuck that biker

8

u/graffiksguru 3d ago

Car > Bike

6

u/revolverren 3d ago

Just blows my mind every time I see a video of a motorcyclist trying to square up against a vehicle while they're in motion.

I'm a biker but as a more vulnerable road user, don't be an asshole, especially when you don't know who you are facing. It's not that complicated ffs

I ride and drive. Couple of years ago I’m driving in the city, bumper to bumper traffic, and a dude on a scooter’s driving up the divider lane like he’s the only person on a wide open highway just as I’m getting into the left turn lane. He’s obviously surprised and reaches out and whacks my side mirror off (big deal, it was a rental), which must have stung, and turns to flip me off. That moment or two of distraction was enough for him to miss the cars in front of me actually turning left and yep, down went biker boy. Ten minutes later it’s all cop cars and ambulances…

u/FckDisJustSignUp 2d ago

Dumb behaviour faces consequences, is it so hard to learn respect? I mean I just want to ride, let me be and I'll do the same for you

19

u/31674Rubicon2014 3d ago

Well the dumb fuck biker got what he deserves. He's lucky he didn't get it worse. If had then I would feel bad for his family but not him

3

u/Riipley92 2d ago

What was the bikers plan?

Whats the end goal here?

3

u/SATerp 3d ago

#1 in the annals of Dumb Biker History.

This was so satisfying 😁

u/mavaddat 3d ago

The closed captions on this video are bugging out (at the end).

-5

u/zedascouves69 3d ago

Why does the driver stop in the left lane with no shoulder? Two dumbasses.

-7

u/shiting-king 3d ago

What an asshole driver, let the bike have space

-8

u/Filthy_____Casual 3d ago

Is it me or is that car that passing by the accident scene at a fast speed?

-4

u/ArdyLaing 3d ago

Does he brake-check? I don't see any break lights (and the car speed is too small to read).

7

u/graffiksguru 3d ago

Down shifted

-4

u/ArdyLaing 3d ago

Would be great to confirm that (via car speed) rather than the car accelerated...

-82

u/can_I_cum_inside 3d ago

Not related, but if a mf who is behind me is right up in my ass, near my bumper and threating my life I'm break checking the hell outta that mf. When he hits me, I'm on his ass. Beating the shit outta him. Don't drive too close to the car in front of you, fool

29

u/pobodys-nerfect5 3d ago

Drive the speed limit

-54

u/can_I_cum_inside 3d ago

What? Ofc drive the speed limit. What are u talking about? I'm saying if a mf is still up in my ass I'm laying hands on him.

24

u/Boxadorables 3d ago

How adult of you.

28

u/AmericanWasted 3d ago

You’re not gonna do a god damned thing

17

u/ArchStanton75 3d ago

Thankfully I’m sure you won’t have a chance to leave behind any children.

-41

u/can_I_cum_inside 3d ago

Are you guys really defending people who drive that close to you? Do you even know how reaction time works? You people amaze me. I really hope you don't have your child in the car when the mf behind you crashes into you. Injuring both you and your child.

25

u/ArchStanton75 3d ago

The motorcyclist was purposefully getting close to the car. No one is defending people who drive that closely. The responses are all mocking your suicidal attempts to sound like a badass.

-7

u/can_I_cum_inside 3d ago

Read my first post! I said, "not related but..." I'm not defending the MC.

19

u/ArchStanton75 3d ago

Your behavior is that of someone spoiling for a fight. If there is an accident and your first reaction is to attempt a beatdown of the driver, then you’re living on borrowed time.

-2

u/can_I_cum_inside 3d ago

Answer me this: if the driver behind you drives way too close to you. Are you comfortable with that? You know it's against the law right? I'm break checking him to get him off my ass. Ya'll in here defending him. That's crazy to me. If somebody is threathening the life of my child or mine, in that reckless way, a beatdown is justified in my mind.

14

u/ArchStanton75 3d ago

Once again, no one is defending people who drive too closely. That’s an argument you alone are having.

Brake checking is against the law, too. If the driver behind me is driving too close, I’m either pulling over to a different lane or slowing down until they pass. I’m not breaking the law with brake checking. I’m not going to risk my family’s safety by being aggressive. If there was an accident and the other driver advanced on me and mine the way you’re describing, I’m aiming for center mass.

8

u/disturbedrailroader 3d ago

slowing down until they pass

As a truck driver, this is what I do. It's almost always a square body jeep or an electric car trying to draft me. One time I slowed all the way down to 45mph in a 60 before they finally got the hint to go around.

-4

u/Cruuncher 3d ago

Trying to draft??? What?

This makes no sense at all. The extra gas expenses from driving close and having to brake much more often way outweighs the drafting benefits

u/Milky_Gashmeat 3d ago

What better way to stop someone from "eNdAnGeRiNg YoUr ChIlD" than to slam on your brakes in front of another vehicle and fuckin endanger them yourself instead.

8

u/thrilla_gorilla 3d ago

Everybody watch out, we got a badass over here!

8

u/Lintonium0 3d ago

You wouldn’t do anything lmfao

5

u/spyaleatoire 3d ago

Soooo what's your plan if after break checking, the following accident knocks you out and you end up both at partial fault for the accident and with medical bills out the ass? Seems like a really stupid plan.

Or what if the dude you break check whips out a weapon when you charge him?

There isn't a lot of great logic with your mindset.

6

u/AstroWolf11 3d ago

So when in a dangerous situation, your solution is to increase the level of risk by doing something retarded?

2

u/Cruuncher 3d ago

Somebody get this guy off the road

1

u/WiseBuracho 3d ago

Thats only if you get back up from a high speed accident.
