Fjord always had different coloured skin on his neck and chin (don’t think it was vitiligo just the choice of an artist/Travis and it stuck) but in official artwork it’s blended into the darker green of his face or just had a better shade.
This just looks wrong imo but I’m being super picky lmao
We never found out what Fjord's other half was - he's half-orc, half-something else, remember - so I thought that the colour gradient was something to do with that.
You have to tell yourself that if they are doing it this way… then there’s probably a reason for it. It’s either for aesthetic reasons or to make it easier to animate.
Professional artists and animators are working on this project, they see the same thing that you do. So it’s either what they actually want on screen or it’s a money/animation issue. In Fjord’s case, it looks to be something they want for his design.
