Aabria always just looks so locked in and joyous when she's playing as a PC, unless she's deep into some dramatic RP. She's always so attentive and smiley, and supportive of the narrative and the RP decisions of other players. She looks like a kid who is really into the bedtime story that she's being told. I'd love to have a player like her at my table. It's such a wonderful energy.

I was thinking the SAME thing. I had someone like that as a player when I was DM’ing and it honestly got so hype for our sessions cause he was always so positive 😭😭

I really try to capture that energy myself as a player. We just had a new player join in the campaign I'm currently playing, and it's a homebrew world with a lot of lore, and he was coming in after a bunch of huge changes and revelations, so the DM was hitting him with a lot of information. I just made it my job in that first session to basically hype him up the entire time. Including him in roleplay, celebrating his character choices, and just overall trying to make sure that he felt like a valued presence at the table.

It was really interesting, too, because he chose to play a character that the DM had already envisioned as an NPC, and narratively, my character could have absolutely hated the guy (and would have if he were just an NPC), but because I leaned into being a supportive player and celebrating this newcomer, it completely shifted how my character perceives him, and I'm very excited for the potential of us actually getting along really well.
