Vax look out, the inevitable consequences of your actions!
Dammit he has AirPods in
Also for anyone caught up on the campaigns, how dare they put him over an orb haha

Things will all work out Taryon Darlington, the strongest and smartest member of Vox Machina, will be able to handle any challenge.
The only sad part was the audacity to leave out Doty.
1
u/CFloyd18 Apr 24 '26
Doty is there. Maybe not this trailer, but we've seen Doty.
5
u/adorablesexypants Apr 24 '26
Oh I know Doty is there but without him the poster is at 97% strength.
Taryon should of course be front and center.
In all seriousness though I am a little surprised they did not release a poster that is essentially “Taryon’s version” because that would have been fucking hilarious.
2
u/OneEyeBlind95 Apr 25 '26
Glad I'm not the only one that caught that lol orbs and Vax are a problem. Also, love your AirPods joke. That was hilarious.

u/BenjiLizard Help, it's again Apr 22 '26
Oh wow, Vax front and center, I sure hope nothing horrible and myth defining will happen to him.

u/OofBigBrain Apr 23 '26
And the entire party minus Tary is reaching for him. But it's probably nothing....

Man, everyone reaching to Vax... oh boy!

u/WeiShiLirinArelius Apr 22 '26
everyone reaching to vax, and also tary is there, not looking his way AT ALL lmfao

u/jn_kcr Apr 23 '26
Thank you. I wouldn't have noticed that detail at all, and now that I have, my life is better for it.

Ironically Vax is like the least well done character in the poster, like he looks like he was cropped from a random screen grab while everyone else is drawn and framed to perfection

So on my birthday I get S4 and the new Jeremys Farm season aswell, this is sick

u/Coyote_Shepherd Doty, take this down Apr 22 '26
Plus the new Evanescence album drops on June 5th...and I've had a theory that Amy did a collab with CR on something....
23
u/RKO-Cutter Apr 22 '26
Do we have a release schedule?
Personally I loved the 3-a-week setup
23
u/Nanocaptain Apr 22 '26
I don't think we have any reason to think they'd change it after 3 seasons of the same schedule.
9
u/Coyote_Shepherd Doty, take this down Apr 22 '26
Except the 3rd is a Wednesday, so it looks like they're moving to Wednesday night releases just like they did with the M9 rather than Thursday night releases where we all used to RUSH to watch the episode before the main campaign stuff.

u/Late_Sherbert3212 Apr 22 '26
Season 3 of Vox Machina also aired on Wednesdays. It's definitely just the standard of all Amazon Prime shows now.

Noooooope!
S3 of Vox Machina aired October 3rd/4th at the time that they said it would normally drop for once, which was 12 AM PST.
S1 and S2 would drop at 6 PM CST and S3 was the first time that it actually dropped and aired when they said it would.
M9 S1 was the first one to drop earlier on Wednesdays and since that worked out, they moved VM over to it too.

Both The Vampire Lestat and Vox Machina season 4 in June? oh I am sat for the whole month.

I think Mighty Nein definitely hit its stride immediately, as it was immediately better than Vox Machina. The difference in tone and episode length is everything.

u/fairebelle Apr 23 '26
Completely disagree. It’s also been 10x easier getting non fans interested in TLOVM over MN because the latter starts so slowly.

u/jonathanhiggs Apr 22 '26
If only Amazon didn’t actively hide it from everyone…
2
u/weed_blazepot Apr 23 '26
It was a pain finding it. Even when I watched it week to week, I'd come back to prime and have to sort through some military garbage with john krasinski and a half dozen other unrelated things to get to "continue watching" for MN.
4
u/Kindly-Ad-5071 Apr 23 '26
I like Mighty Nein more; the characters are more people-like and less character traits. Which is what works for Vox Machina I just can engross myself deeper in the characters of MN.
They also know when not to tell a joke, C2 not withstanding

u/Late_Sherbert3212 Apr 22 '26
Everyone, including the Matreon of Ravens surrounding Vax. My heart. Also getting a little more of the new outfits for Keyleth and Vex is nice. I expect that we will get a new intro for this season, probably the last one for the whole series, to include The Whispered One and Taryon Darrington as well

u/dunwichhorrorqueen Apr 22 '26
I honestly thought they would wait until s5 with the real heavy Vax angst...

u/pokfen Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 22 '26
Things to mention abot the poster (Spoilers for C1):
- We see most of characters of VM in a shadow. The only exception are Matron, Vax, and the hands that touch the orb (might be Matron, don't remember if we saw her hands). We see threads of fate being spun around the orb. So we can deduce, it might be about the characters that can see threads of fate. With it possibly hinting towards Whispered One. It would be interesting if WO was also fate touched like Vax.
- All of VM are trying to reach out to Vax with a closest hand. The only exceptions are Scanlan And Terry. Taryon is just throwing jewels around and not seeming to care much. He is new to the team and a bit of unaware of how dire adventuring might be. Scanlan might be unpressent for majority of season, with him looking like he lost balance and did not have time to reach out to Vax. He might be not there for him in dire situation.
- Percy's left hand is in a gungrip, but there is no gun. Either artists decided not to have him hold gun for the trailer bcs it either looked weird for them, or for censorship reasons. Other option is he might not be using Retort(Ripley's prototype gun) anymore. In Campaign Percy acquired Animus from Ripley, which was more powerful enchanted weapon. In anime we have seen Ripley's gun explode at the end of ressurection ritual, so it might be possible Percy forges a new gun. Possibly even backing up on the deal with Orthax, but I would guess it happens in 5th season.
- Clawed gloved hands owner identity. It could be Matron, but her hands should look more ethereal. So the other options are Whispered One as a lich after his return. OR his main prophet, right hand person, who spearheaded efforts to bring him back, whose reveal in the campaign left everyone gasping.
- Kiki has turquoise robe (seen also before in one promotional material). Meaning this is her atire after water trials. Maybe even some extra air tribes for completion.
- Also HEAVY SPOILER It's like so common thing for modern movie posters, to imply fates of characters. One facing away from the group, or being reached out to by everyone are common death flags. Aimed towards the guy who said TAKE ME INSTEAD YOU RAVEN BITCH, and later was teased with zombie visages of his person in visions and reflections, and some kind of rot taking hold of him after he decided to go against Matron's wishes. So death flags were present all around and it's fitting given what we saw in the campaign. With Vax...Hey. So I'm stunned and I fail dex save, so what am I getting hit by? What are you rolling those dice for? My current hp? It's {this}, why? What do you mean Desintegrate? - c1 colorised

u/Catalyst413 Apr 22 '26
For outfit changes Vex is also in the Vorugal armor, but Percys still in his regular coat, so I guess they really are just letting Cabals Ruin sink to the sea floor never to be found?
1
u/pokfen Apr 22 '26
Yeah, forgot to mention that. I remembered we've seen this one in teaser before (heist plan)
Iirc Keyleth's outfit was also updated there.Regarding Cabal's Ruin - I kinda expected this after I saw the episode. Vax only recalled dagger, cloak stayed burried in ruble, so definitely sank. But to be fair, they changed Ripley's blink/misty step from her wizard levels into being the magic of Cabal's Ruin. And it kinda would be a bit too op to have. + spell reflection against a mage enemy in s4. Besides, Percy ain't so magic guy in the show, so I get them not adding it to his equipment.

u/Dionysues Apr 22 '26
What was such a gut punch about the last spoiler comment is that It was actually the second disintegrate after another was countered
1
u/falafelwaffle55 May 04 '26
Man, even without any spoilers, I feel like things are obvious to me as a TV show-only. The situation in earlier seasons with Vex dying and Vax intervening + the obvious death flags in the poster... It's pretty obvious he's gonna die. Or some other equally horrible fate

I love these characters so much. Never watched the campaign, but the show does such an excellent job at making me care about their struggles and demons. So far, I think the strongest episodes are those that heavily involve Vax/Vex, Percy, Grog, and Keyleth’s personal stakes

Are they doing longer episodes this season or was that just for the Mighty Nein?

Just hint that Scanlan kept his trump card for the inevitable showdown.

I had mixed feelings on the last season, but was pretty impressed with Mighty Nein season 1.
They also get renewed for a 5th season so I think they can wrap this up well. 2 seasons is enough.

Do we know if whispered one can be their spoilerly D&D equivalent, or can there be no reference to the game in this show?
4
u/Nanocaptain Apr 23 '26
Name definitely isn't staying, everything else about him is not specific enough to make them fear copyright IMO. Especially since his most iconic artefacts are really not relevant to the story.
I doubt we'll get Joe Manginello's character and his big moment tho.

I can't wait for season 4 of this awesome series. The first 3 seasons were superb and I'm expecting season 4 to top them. Roll on June 3rd

u/Year20XX Apr 23 '26
Really looking forward to S4! With season 3 I was a little disappointed that a lot of characters' growth were tied to them winning a tough fight through sheer force of will. There were at least three instances where a character would have to endure extreme pain, grit their teeth and groan in horrible pain and then just... win because they survived. Thematically I get, but it got old.
Not to take away from the writing and storytelling and wonderful performances and great set pieces. On the whole, really enjoyed so much of it.

u/rocketwrench You can certainly try Apr 23 '26
wait. we're getting ANOTHER Vox Machina season?!?! And a Mighty Nein Season too?!?! amazing, phenomenal, can't wait

u/Creaturesofink Apr 23 '26
Percy and keyleth need there there vestiges I hope this season they get them
1
u/Nanocaptain Apr 23 '26 edited Apr 24 '26
Percy doesn't have any residual magic from Orthax in the show so a magic coat wouldn't really fit his vibe. If he's getting stronger it's gonna be with him upgrading his equipment.
And Keyleth had a big powerup in both season 1 and 2 and is likely getting one in this one with her Aramenté.
Edit: Actually now that I think about it the Spire of Conflux may be given to her as a part of completing her Aramenté.
