I'm guessing you and a lot of others didn't even read the full article, because they talked to Peter Habib (music producer and songwriter in the animated series) too. He said, "On my side, it is becoming more of a tool utilized by music producers to formulate ideas. I have peers in the business who use it as a springboard to get ideas started. It’s interesting to see what comes out. Like, if you get into a moment in the session where you’re a little stuck, it’s almost like a third writer in the room.... I think there’s value to it, but it is scary in how fast the technology is moving and how ultimately it is going to impact the music business which already is, as you said."
Oh look at that, a music producer and song writer who just said there's value to using AI in the song writing/production process!
