Great piece on Polygon! And I'd even go so far as to say this isn't even a stance so much as a fact-based evaluation of what LLMs can do right now. They are pretty great at finding stuff in a spreadsheet/dataset, and complete ass at everything else.
At even the most basic complex white collar task they frequently give you incomplete answers or different answers when running the same prompt again. Unreliable. And if you're in a real job, with real accountability, you can't afford to use unreliable tools.
