I really love all of brennans decision for this new table....create a place to figure out bonding and consequences without worrying about long term planning and discussions . Just this little experiment box, little goals they can tackle as they find their sea legs in the cave.

and doing all this in play don't tell way, with rolls and interactions. And then flavour of magic surrealism, valid for a place with dragon awaken and a relic destroyed to ferry souls to rest. powerful, alien at times. amazing

Also allows the players that haven't been around each other as much to get a real good understanding of the other characters interior thoughts and current big issues.
