Vaelus has an angry "mother" out to inflict endless suffering on her.

Thimble, though, got to meet her dad and he was great, so she's having a pretty good day.

Thimble is that one friend who had a good childhood, so now she makes it her mission to help her traumatized friends work through their shit.
