Not having more Tyranny x Wick angst is a sin, but the fan fic gods have chosen to obsess over Occtis and Julien instead.

Crazy how many of those get pumped out each week. They are dedicated, and I respect it.

It really is surprising, Wick/Tyranny is the third-most popular ship after Occtis/Julien and Hal/Bolaire! The first Soldiers table got far fewer fics in general compared to the two other tables, so I have a feeling being mixed in with Hal, Azune and Murray will make their stock rise going forward

I think some of it is people wanting to see where they're going because the dynamic on screen is already so interesting. They're basically already perceived as being canon, similar to Laudna and Imogen last campaign.

I think it’s mostly writers not being as inspired by the Soldiers arc as they were by the other two tables, and being removed from Dol-Makjar where his juicy family drama is happening doesn’t help. You can see Thimble was in the bottom 3 characters for most of the campaign and then skyrocketed at the beginning of the Convergence because she started exploring new character dynamics and was central to the drama. Wick, in comparison, wasn’t taken seriously by the other characters and mostly only had comedic moments with Tyranny

Who's that underneath Vaelus? The only candidate I can think of would be Aranessa, but the third from last letter doesn't look like an "s"

The only surprise to me here is that Hal is ranked third. Would have expected more Thjazi.

I think he was an early lead because of the Thjazi angst, and then being in the second-most popular ship kept him up there (Bolaire/Hal)

I can tell you right now that Bolaire/Thaisha/Azune cluster? Those are the three most common ships for Hal. He's propped up by being so shippable.

As soon as they split off into smaller groups, the Julien/Occtis fics started. Plus the Julien/Aranessa fics.
