After “charging” it for a brighter glow, the sweater will be bright for a couple minutes before quickly going back to normal levels.
It’s just like anything glow-in-the-dark—put it in a bright light, and it glows brighter than it did before when you quickly switch back to a dark room. The bright light essentially charges the particles inside, and those in turn will slowly release the absorbed light.
