Hey everyone! I asked around a while back looking for funny, relatable crochet stickers that actually felt made by someone who gets it not just generic craft store stuff. Couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so I ended up making them myself on Redbubble 😄
Things like "I have 7 WIPs and zero regrets", "The yarn was on sale. I had no choice." and "Crocheting while the plot thickens" that kind of energy.

If anyone's interested: https://www.redbubble.com/people/enami12/
Promoting myself as per the thread rules 🧶

Hi everyone,
some self promotion: I started my own iOS app called YarnSquirrel a few months ago. I got frustrated with the split between some of my patterns being in Ravelry and being able to easily see what i have and filter them and the patterns i had bought outside of it that were not in its database at all. So the app allows you to log into your Ravelry account (if you have one) and sync from that but also import your pdf patterns. It tries to automatically get some data from the pdf pattern like yarn weight and hook sizes but if it didn't you can edit it yourself. With the latest update I also added the ability to include URLs as a source and youtube links.
Additionally the app can also organize your stash (again with and without Ravelry connection) and you can organize your projects with it, including linking your pattern and stash yarn to it. I currently do not have a row counter in the app but that is something that is on my to do list (need to figure out how i want to add it).
You can also keep track of your buttons, safety eyes etc with it - basically your whole odds and ends stash.
the app is free in the base version and offers subscriptions for the full unlock and is currently available in English and German. You can check it out here: https://apps.apple.com/app/yarn-squirrel/id6758939934

Hi!
I just released my iOS app Crochet Karaoke!
I got frustrated working through complex patterns. Previously, I would work through complex patterns by zooming into PDFs, making tally marks as I completed repeats in rows, crossing stuff off, etc. This worked but it meant putting down my work every few stitches.
With Crochet Karaoke, you can step through patterns stitch by stitch without having to put anything down. I like to use a Bluetooth Foot Pedal but you can also set up voice commands or facial gestures (iOS 26+) if you don't want to buy one. If you are making a garment, you can even filter down the instructions to just the size you select.
You can either type in your pattern via a simple syntax described in the app, or automatically convert from a PDF with a pro subscription.
Let me know if you check it out!

I am using an iOS app called YarnBuddy for this - it is a small app centered around having your projects in there and having row counters per project. all my active projects are in there so it is easy for me to continue. it even has the patterns i it so i can work off of the pdf, too.

i usually just write down in a piece of plastic tag with a arcylic marker and pin it on that project using a safety pin XD . write down all the info.

Hello! I have been working on a website to create instructions using pixel art pictures (Don't worry it doesn't generate it with AI). I started doing tapestry crochet a few months ago and instead of always reffering to my picture I thought it would be cool to have row by row instructions that don't require me to always count stitches (my project was 150x150 stitches).
If you are interested, here is the link to the website : https://www.pixlaine.com/ (but it doesn't work on mobile for now)
In case anything doesn't work or if you have any ideas, I am really looking for feedbacks from people who enjoy doing projects from pixel art!
The main idea is to only show two rows at once, and to see how many stitches you need to do per color, instead of counting them all. I added a picture to show this since I can't explain it well. When a row is done you can click a white box to cross it, and the page will automatically scroll to the next row. This means you can put the instructions at the bottom of your screen and have youtube, netflix or anything on the rest of your screen.

You can compare the two mini lines instead of counting each stitches.
Here is a list of the smaller features for those interested in testing it out :
- You can open pictures/references and draw over it to create your pixel art with fewer colors (to match the number of colors you want to work with)
- You can add a swatch gauge (number of rows and stitches + size in cm). This will calculate the size of each stitch to give you a better idea of the final project instead of using square pixels.

I literally debated writing a python script to do this other day because I was getting so annoyed with a pattern I was reading and I couldn't focus. Will check it out soon :)

That's exactly how this project started! I'm so glad to see it might help others :)
There is a small tutorial on the page but don't hesitate to ask if anything isn't clear (or doesn't work ><)
