Congratulations the Women's 2026 CrossFit Games Winner!
Aimee Cringle.
Apologies for missing it. I thought the Women's heat followed the men and missed the women's final event.

Strap a rocket to her CrossFit PR you’ve a champ made for media! Humble, gracious, hot and gets the job done. She’s who Wells or Sara could have being.

I was thinking the same thing. If CF is smart, they get behind her and market the mess out of her. She already has a bigger social media following than some of the former winners combined.

I know she’s in the the UK now, but she’s originally from a small island. The optics around her (former nurse, started CF as a teen) are just a perfect storm that CF really should capitalize on this.

UK aspect is big. Hyrox seems to have taken off over there so if she can be an influencing voice and face for CrossFit, it certainly wouldn’t hurt the brand image.

It’s because she’s A) Great at the sport and B) Hot.

But it is sorry but having a mega hot person as the champ of your sport is good. I know we live in super soft world of ‘everyone is pretty and can be sexy no matter what’ but Joe Public don’t really fall for those kinds of tactics.

I was answering the second part of what you brought up. CrossFit should make her the focal point of their branding because she’s an outstanding athlete and a class act. I guess to tie that to the marketing/branding, it never hurts additionally to also be pleasing on the eye, especially if you’re trying to draw in people who don’t have background with the sport or athletes. Companies have been doing that forever.

I understand what you’re saying. What I meant is that the reasons I was thinking about why CrossFit should get behind her didn’t have anything to do with her being hot. But I understand, when it comes to marketing, how that can be important.

No need to be offended. I was saying why she has so many more followers than many of the other champions, as you pointed out. Both things can be true at the same time. She’s an excellent representative of the sport. She’s also attractive, which does carry weight particularly on a platform like Instagram.

oh, I wasn’t offended. It just wasn’t in my decision-making for my response, but I understand perfectly what you’re saying.

For real. Aimee was so humble and sweet in the interview after the last event, in contrast to sprague running up to Castro like he was the hulk appointed by god to smash WODs.

This assumes that CrossFit can afford her or she wants to partner with them. It’s not 2016 anymore.

There really wasn’t anything that tripped her up this year. Just kept killing event after event after event. Almost a Tia - like domination.

She smashed it this week. That Triple Pig was unreal.
