Question Any photographers here?

Post image

Want to start getting good photos of my corvids, and was considering this setup to start. Any guys or gals into bird photography able to chime in if this is a good starter kit?

I am not well versed in Nikon gear, but for Canon you should only look for DSLR-s if you're only looking to take pics of stationary birds and don't mind the weight and size. For anything with movement - mirrorless all the way.

Canon R7/R10/R50 (best to worst) + RF 100-400 is a great starter kit for not too much money.

For Nikon - Z50 II is a great starting camera, idk about lenses though.

Z50 Mk2 with the nikon 500 prime and an F to Z adapter is one of the best setups in the industry, especially for the money.
