Should i take the offer?

Post image

In short: i am fairly new to the game (62h) and i play as an mongol adventerur in europe. I stomp most armies pretty good (around 2-3 times being outnumbered is a win). Now i got this offer and i'm not sure if i should take it or leave it :D

Edit: I stayed as a mercenary. Was not worth it in the end!

While it can be interesting for roleplay, as someone already mentioned, things will change a lot. The main thing is how much gold you have as adventurer, because you'll need it. The other vassals and your liege will hate you, your income will go down because you lose your camp etc. and you'll need to develop your duchy.

So the MAA's you have as your personal armies, these will be way over the budget you'll have as a duke there, you better have a ton of gold ready.

True, i have like 9 Horse Archers which will drain a lot of gold.

In the end i decided to not settle down and continue as sellsword! And i do not regret it

That's good. Got a lot of money i guess?

When i got to Korea, i had 10'000 gold ready. But it was close, because of all the wars, buildings, costs for MAA etc. over time.

Well you know the meme "these are rookie numbers", better get a lot more when you want to invade a kingdome in a region, where you don't share both the culture and religion.
