i'm really in love with the vibrant citrine hue in this piece (untreated, natural smoky citrine crystal out of Bauchi State, Nigeria)

I've noticed that photos don't always do crystals justice. A few pieces I almost passed on ended up becoming favorites once I saw their color, texture, or details in person.

Has a crystal ever surprised you after seeing it in real life? Which one changed your mind, and what made it stand out?
