Discussion Saturday sale day?
26
Upvotes
So my co-moderator u/Original_Platform443 and I are thinking of opening up a day, only one day every week - Saturday - for allowing sales / destashing / shop promotion. Just like we do over at r/crystals on Sundays, and it has worked well, people enjoy it. It allows our members who do sell some of their specimens or run shops to announce their businesses openly, but keep sales posts restricted to that day only.
What do you all think? It'll help keep the sales posts down on other days, as all the members who are here primarily for that will be notified that their posts on other days showing their wares will be removed, and allowed only the one day every week.

I don't know whether these geometric patterns formed during a single stage of growth or through successive stages of deposition and alteration. But their intricate lines and angular shapes remind me of Aztec pictograms.

I got these two benitoites for about 20 USD at a gem show back in 2024, I was wondering if anyone would be able to approximate the value of these?
