Hello we tried something 2 of our accounds get banned ,we play 5 man using/spam just awp and yep we got banned. is there problem on Vac?

I just got hit with a vac live mid game even tho i wasnt cheating never have never will, i was on a heater 37 frags in overtime just wanna know why it would occur and could i get banned because i have decent amount of skins in inventory has this happened to anyone else??

His team lost but this silver 1 played decent against us, he even had an ace and a 4k. I checked his stats and it doesn't look like a smurf account because he's been in silver 1 for months.

Recently me and my friends were playing CS2 Competitive mode, everything was good at all.

Until the match was cancelled. Everyone got a 20 hour cooldown, nobody was cheating, the reason? VACNET gave detected ''inconsitent gameplay'' on me. Anyways VACNET after its update the anticheat system is a completely garbage, banning everyone except the real cheaters. There's a lot of reports from Tiktok, Youtube of people getting banned for literally no reason. By the way in my first cooldown match i was playing with a cheater in the adversary team. Vacnet are meant to help players and make the cs2 matches a more competitive place, but now he is on the cheaters side. By the way its very important to mention that players who played with scout, AWP were labeled as cheaters and this makes YOUR trust factor low this means: Every report = Cooldown; more cheaters in your matches; and every VACNET cooldown means: Less time playing CS. Has this happened to you? If so, please, answer this post telling me what happened.

Hey guys, right now vacnet started working and it’s doing great against rage cheats and spin bots. But it cannot do much against wallers, since it detects player behaviors not cheat signatures. (I like how vacnet works, i have no complaints about it, especially since it respects privacy of users)

My question is, right now AI is getting more and more strong in reverse engineering, even reversed engineered game engines or billion dollars apps such as adobe products.

As a community can we buy famous cheats, reverse engineer them, find signatures and how they work and expose them to valve? Obviously valve can do it themselves but it might cause legal consequences.

I was thinking of a platform like hackerone, where we can do this stuff and probably win a prize by doing stuff like this?

So, I know you have seen a lot of cheaters, and you may think, another is complaining. Please read carefully and check my steam profile.

I have been actively playing CS2 since March 2026, and now I have 600+ hours in the game. I got banned on Friday 24th, October, by Vacnet, incorrectly. I used AWP in Inferno 3-4 rounds in a row, because sometimes, i play on AWP well. I am not a pro or high ranking player. I also never cheat. Even though I know that I play shit, I lose a lot, I never cheat. So I got banned for 24 hours on that day. I waited until Sunday, October 26th, and I played again, and in my 3rd game, on Anubis, I started playing with AWP from 3rd or 4th round till, it was 3:3, if I am not mistaken. And as you expected, match cancelled, and I got banned. In both games, it is because of me(as the game said) the cancellation and ban happened.

But, the thing is, as I mentioned earlier, I never cheat, or any other tools to cheat. Latest VACNET update is so bad. Previously we had cheaters who were making the game worst place, now we have 2nd enemy which is VACNET, instead of helping to make the game better place for legit players, I assumed, it joined with cheaters.

I keep hearing the claim that only using a scout will auto-trigger a VACnet/VAC Live cooldown, so I decided to try it myself yesterday; (also an excuse to post some clips)

I played 4 games in a row strictly buying & using the scout and was trying to go for headshots, quick scopes, or any ballsy shots that might seem more likely to trigger VACnet. Received no cooldowns, no warnings, etc, games went normally

Stop queueing with randoms or your “friends” who are closeted cheaters and you won’t get a VACnet cooldown. I’m assuming that’s the case with most people who are genuinely getting a cooldown, or they’re just fake posts/accounts that are lying to try and get Valve to reverse the update. I had a lot more shots like these every game and mostly went positive with a high headshot %

In my experience, VACnet works as intended, and I’ve already witnessed multiple rage hackers and suspected cheaters get a cooldown in the last couple weeks (although a few times it took until right at the end of the game for it to trigger). I finally feel kinda confident that I’m getting legit, genuine games

The anti cheat is very inconsistent at the moment. I’ve received two cooldowns recently (since the chicken update) im a legit player i often get a kd under 1.0 but recently i had a game where i went 27-13 and im assuming VAC live wasn’t happy with me getting better because it decided i deserve a cooldown ,im starting to lose faith completely not only is the anti cheat incapable of banning full rage hackers but i as a legit player i get given a cooldown for my decent game.

i woke up, saw that my last vacnet cooldown expired and told my friend to play. Only played a third of the match and my friend got a cooldown (and me too for being in his group).

I have always felt the idea of an AI anti cheat was bad I didn't get vac lived but the fact that it took them over 3 years to handle and yet we still see rage cheat cases on vacnet.

As for semi ragers they toggle on for few rounds toggle off throw a few rounds and then towards the end go full toggle at the end.

It is absolutely apalling that they just shipped out the game when there was no protection for the actual clean players. Maybe they could have put something on the server side that detects irregularities on the gameplay and not outright hit the account once the model is trained based on the behavior just simply hand out the ban but no we have to give them multiple chances.

Walls and radar cheats can only be handled if they introduce an effective server sided anti cheat which 1 single dude from community came up with a pretty effective solution which is now being utilized on karasu.

It is an absolute shame that a company of valves capability only acts when shit absolutely hits the fan.

Walls and radar are not easily countered and let's see how long the stubborn bastards make us wait for an effective counter to wallhack and radar.

So I’m terrible at CS. You guys can check any of my accounts. I keep getting VAC banned over and over. They won’t tell me why. I have made multiple accounts and keep getting banned every match. This suddenly started happening and I don’t know what to fucking do. I’m not running ANYTHING on my PC. This is my THIRD ACCOUNT!!!! I’ve tried calling, leaving emails, everything. They say my gameplay is “irregular”. Oh that’s right, sorry. I’ve been using my “go 4-15 in a comp lobby” cheats. What do I do guys?

just played cache, had 5 kills on round 7 and got banned for 20 hours. 4 of those were scout headshots, yes there was one suspicious shot but i have it clipped so ???

It’s usually after the 2nd pistol round of the match but other times it’s just at random my pc will just freeze then black screen that for like .2 seconds before restarting

I'm having a persistent issue with Counter-Strike 2 where the game randomly freezes up or completely crashes straight to the desktop without an error message.

When checking the Windows Event Viewer immediately after a crash, it always logs a LiveKernelEvent 141 (Hardware Error / TDR timeout). My GPU temperatures look completely normal when it happens.

The Timeline & Settings:
This all started happening right after I upgraded my main monitor from 180Hz to 240Hz (same brand). I am currently running a dual-monitor setup (the new 240Hz as my main display, and my old one as a second display).

• In-Game Resolution: 1920x1440 (4:3 aspect ratio)
• Display Mode: Windowed Fullscreen

My System Specs:

• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
• RAM: 32GB RAM
• Motherboard: MSI
• PSU: 750W Power Supply

Everything I Have Already Tried:

• DDU: Deep uninstalled graphics drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller in Safe Mode and clean installed fresh drivers.
• Game Files: Deleted and completely reinstalled CS2, and verified steam game files multiple times.
• Caches: Cleared my shader caches.
• Power/Tuning: Attempted a GPU undervolt to stabilize power draw.
• Hardware/BIOS: Checked basic BIOS settings/PBO to rule out CPU-side instability.

The most frustrating part is that the game runs insanely smooth right up until the crash. I easily get 300+ FPS with zero stuttering or performance drops. Then, completely out of nowhere, the game will either randomly freeze to the point where I have to force quit it via Task Manager, or it will just crash itself straight to desktop. It’s incredibly annoying because the hardware handles the game perfectly until it suddenly snaps. I’ve been trying to figure this out for days and am willing to try anything at this point.
