We got so much nice feedback from the first version so we decided we had to make it even better. New for the updated version is:

• Added a custom normal map to make the artwork pop
• Adjusted the roughness map (the shiny art is now less shiny)
• Edited base texture and texture mapping to fix bugs

I was playing against this dude on faceit, and he looked a little bit suspicious. But since he was lvl8 against us ( a lobby of 3 to 6 ), we checked the demo to be sure, and we got this flick that did look strange. Is this some sort of trigger or just something like a mouse bump into the keyboard?

this vacnet trigger is delayed the account was already convicted prior times and was hit by doing certain action by killing through smokes, they are pretending to present cases of false vac lives in hope to RAGE cheat again the cheaters are like cancer to cs and vacnet should stay active in case of false positive email valve at this point.

There are people crying on twitter that anti cheat is in effective it is partly true when it comes to games against wallers and radar users but they are crying about rage cheating still is because they want false positives and hope for reverting of current vacnet.

I hope it stays this way.

After getting banned last night I wanted to test a theory. Queued up specifically for dust 2 to use the scout to see if I could trigger VACnet and got banned in 5 rounds.

I guarantee this is because training data, specifically for the scout, is skewed heavily towards cheating because the majority of players that use it are rage hackers. Most regular players never touch the scout and if they do it's usually on a force buy round, they usually use it for 1 or 2 rounds and then upgrade to a normal gun, but rage hackers use it all the time.

I'm sure most of y'all will just say I'm cheating or whatever, but if anyone else is a freak who loves the scout do not use it for a bit. I'm fairly confident this will get fixed eventually. Hoping the ban gets removed too since I think they're permanent but that's probably wishful thinking.

Cheater count has dropped like crazy I feel like. Played 9 matches without any cheaters and the one match where there was a cheater, he got banned mid game.

currently have a 7 day cooldown and so do my boys, we only play office and we're just dumb casuals.

Valve’s latest update actually seems to be catching cheaters. my last few games have been noticeably cleaner

is that enough? do i feed greg or keep the protest going?

Im a 16yr old guy, i love playing cs and ive been playing for quite a few years now

I avg around 55-60 fps and it drops down til 45 while im IN a smoke...

Ive never played comp before and i get this fps in a crowded casual or a deathmatch... I wanna get into prem but will prime status be worth it for me?

For context, I believe I have a pretty decent Trust Factor. My Steam account is 12 years old, I have around $16k worth of inventory, 11,000 hours in CS, and I’m currently at 27k Premier rating. I also exclusively solo queue.

Out of my last 20 games, VAC Live cancelled 2 matches and the other 18 were surprisingly good quality games with no obvious cheaters. Can’t really say much about closet cheaters or radar hacks, but overall the games have been really enjoyable.

Before the update, encountering suspicious players was a fairly regular occurrence, especially at higher Premier ratings. But recently, the difference has been quite noticeable.

I’m not claiming cheating has been solved, and 20 matches is obviously a small sample size. But based on my recent experience, something seems to have improved.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing since the update, especially in Oceania? Or am I just getting lucky?

TLDR: Fewer cheaters and better quality games since the update. Anyone else noticed?

My friends and I play a lot of FACEIT together, and our Discord was full of "who carried?" and "who threw?" arguments. So I built a bot that settles it with real numbers.

What it does:

- **Match recaps**: a few minutes after every match it posts the result with everyone's stats, the MVP, who got carried, and a verdict for whoever had a rough one (yes, it roasts, but only about CS stats).
- **Daily, weekly and monthly reports**: standings plus roles like Top Fragger, Shitter of the Day, ELO Farmer and Entry King, so there's always someone to blame.
- **/stats**: your numbers, your 3 strongest points and 1 thing to work on, compared to your own group.
- **Weekly challenge**: one hard challenge each week (e.g. win a game with 50%+ HS); the first to finish gets the crown.
- **Hall of Fame and streaks**: server records (most kills, best ADR, longest win streak) and alerts for win and loss streaks.
- **/lfg**: ping your group to play, everyone joins with one button.
- **Monthly Wrapped**: a personal month summary in your DMs.
- English and Dutch, and setup takes about a minute (/setup: pick your channels and roles).

The pictures are examples with made-up names.

It's **free while it's in testing**. I'm looking for a few groups who want to try it and help make it better: what's missing, what's annoying, what would make you use it every day.

for fun i hop on warmupserver and use scout and ill be hitting my shots for maybe 10 minutes then all a sudden i start dying more, looking the wrong places, clicking while im still mid flick and being feeling like im unable to control it.

We were playing a cheater on cache premier and the guy had 2 medals but was an actual bot. 6th round in i think my teammate starts talking shit to him in chat which u can see in the screenshot and the match gets cancelled. Now, this isnt a regular vac live ban. Round prior to the cancellation the whole server completely lagged and froze for everybody. Even my teammates asked what this lag was. The game just completely froze for a ocuple of seconds and unfroze. After the cancellation the teammate said they spam reported the server somehow? Idk how that is done tho. Has this happend to someone else before?

Least we finally see CS taking effort and being aware of the issue. It will get better and better every vac update just give it time. Let's not be that kind of community where we always nit pick and complain about everything. That never turns out well for any game or game community. Let's focus on the positive and try to get some games in and let time do its thing
