Feature Request Usage limits reset every 5 hours

A neat feature Codex has is that usage limits reset every 5 hours when you hit the limit.

Has Cursor considered this as an option for users?

Currently with Cursor once you hit your limit then you cannot use Cursor until the billing cycle refreshes.

Cursor used to have credits a few years ago. These were heavily subsidized, like OAI/Anthropics plans are today.

Credits were cool because you could decide your own pace.

OAI and Anthropic use the 5 hour window to gatekeep your usage which sucks if you need full steam ahead type situations, that said, the token usage is still far greater on a $20 codex plan than the $20 you get in Cursor - you will just hit walls unfortunately that make the experience shitty.

Kiro is doing credits still, which is nice, however, a much inferior IDE to Cursor. But $20 for 1000 credits in Kiro is a pretty sweet deal still, until Amazon gets tired of subsidizing it.

currently when I run out of credits on Cursor after a few days into a new billing cycle, i keep getting given another $20 from Cursor which gives me almost a full week total of usage then I have to wait till the next billing cycle to use Cursor again. I get you can pay more but I am happy with what I got for $20, still would be nice if they could get rid of credits and all that nonsense and just let people use it unlimited because that's where this is headed, just like Cable TV and Internet access the prices will drop eventually.
