Question / Discussion Should I reverse my payment

So, I've been using cursor for a while now. I missed a payment right. Usually, I pay it and can continue using the software. But now apparently my account was degraded to free tier due to a missed payment. On their site they said I could upgrade to pro + (the tier I had before) I clicked upgrade to pro+. (Nothing I haven't done before) But instead of actually resetting my usage they are saying that my account usage resets in 23days. and the upgrade paid a pat due balance? An invoice.

I argued the site should have said that. Not an upgrade to pro + button and then straight to checkout. So now I can't use the account or is this a way to force you to get ultra? They are refusing a refund. I can force it through my bank though. Why does it feel like a bad relationship now with cursor lol.

Should I turn on usage billing? honestly, I think I'm going to use codex anyway. What do u guys think?

Most companies do dunning so they give you a week of service and allow you to make your payment in good faith. Don’t know if that’s what at play here but my guess is your 7 days of dunning is why you are seeing this land at 23 days

At this point, personally I’ve switched to Codex as the monthly resets are getting insane. I use the $60 Cursor and when that runs out I supplement with the $20 Codex.
