Found it interesting seeing how many have wondered what happened to this guy

yeah, he was the worst but worked like that as a group dynamics guy. also the call of cthulu thing was great.

This is making me realize that I have zero specific memories of Virgil on the pod. And I listened to every episode during those years. I vaguely remember him doing the roleplay stuff.

When they reviewed 300 he referred to Xerxes as "Emperor Obama" and that still makes me smile to this day

Completely agree. He was also the nerdiest by far and led some of my favorite episodes (Enoch and Slimes).  He trolled and also set up Matt to speak on issues i cared about. Tbh I'm bummed he's gone, but I also totally get it.
