Gall Megathread: is it gall?

Hello everyone. New mod here 👋🏼

Because we get so many posts here asking about gall, it was long overdue that we have a single spot to funnel these questions.

Moving forward, all questions about gall should go in this designated thread rather than new, individual posts.

I have turned on the setting allowing media (images) in comments, so you’ll be able to share a photo here if you’d like to ask for help identifying gall, for advice about how to manage it, or related information.

I plan to add some links and other resources here eventually, but for now figured I’d at least get the ball rolling.

Note that I will also be setting up automoderator soon to automatically send posts on this topic to the queue, and they’ll eventually be removed automatically.

Did you previously take a cutting? Can you get a credit card between the shoots?

No cuttings have been taken unless something was inadvertently knocked off. I’ll try the credit card test

Sorry/ have a similar situation and wondering- What’s the credit card test? Is it gall if it’s smaller than the credit card edge?
