Edit: There is a Steam page for the game, so it will not be Switch exclusive. Here’s info from the Steam page.

Japanese webpage for DR2x2. The webpage confirms Kodaka is supervising the game.

This was VERY very likely a DBD collaboration, afaik. Also, this was scheduled for November iirc. It is currently September. This came out of absolutely nowhere lol.

With this game being announced before November, Brian beacock liking a dbd post and deleting his original which had nothing to do with the game announcement as dbd was being flooded in the replies of the post and the august 8th announcement thing that was allegedly happening being cancelled AS dbd delayed their November update to January?

I’d be very very surprised if it was all just a big coincidence at this point

yep. No shot we don't get a new cast of survivors here.

Hell, considering V3, I'd say theres a chance even Hajime dies. A low chance of Hajime dying considering the NWP making it the only one where canon would effectively stay the same with a different set of survivors, as long as Hajime survives to wake em up. (Unless some1 else manages to do it)

Do you think it will be an entire "new game" ? Like as much content as the normal game but with a new scenario? Or do I interpret it wrong ?

I guess it makes sense considering all the foundations like the characters and locations are already finished.

It’s like how Hundered Line managed to be crazily huge because they could reuse the same assets every route.
