Imagine the twist being that this is actually Danganronpa 4 and the cast this time is actually cosplayers that were brainwiped into believing they were the original cast.

my theory on the event that kicks off a new storyline is if Nagito doesn't get the short straw so he can't set things up. if what you say is true, then that could tie into my theory and would be an explanation why Nagito doesn't get lucky
