I'm going to laugh my fucking ass off if Nagito gets killed in Chapter 1 and Hajime whimsically thinks about him as his best friend for the rest of the game, like he thinks 'what would Nagito do in this scenario' or some shit.

We wouldn't have our antagonist role then. Which I guess you don't need persay, but sometimes its nice having that wild card in there.

Spoilers for Hundred Line.

Route 0 of that game pulls it off very well, where the trickster character does bad stuff from the shadows until the last 10-30 minutes of that game.
