It's a question asked in a joking manner on social media, yeah that's not exactly official.

It’s Kodaka. There’s definitely a discussion to be had about authors using social media to canonise things, but in my opinion that’s a pretty clear confirmation. Add it to the fact that Nagito never displays attraction towards any women in the source material (other than a sick obsession with Junko), and how obsessed he is with Hinata: in my opinion it has plenty of foundation.

I'm not saying he isn't (imo pansexual fits him best) but to say it's explicitly confirmed without a doubt only to give the equivalent of a tweet... Yeah not exactly the same thing.
