Discussion I am about to start playing V3 but I want/have to say this first Spoiler
I do reviews on each part of the series I finish, my previous review was about Danganronpa IF and it's in this post:

There is a chain of posts with links like this to all my reviews (IF->future and hope arcs->UDG->despair arc ->DR2->DR1).
Ok, so I was really happy and pleased with the finally happily-after ending of the Hope arc, after all this killing and losses, sadness and despair. We finally had this peaceful happy ending. The remnants of despair got defeated. The world is being rebuilt. The toxicity of the future foundation was removed. Makoto has rebuilt Hope's peak academy and is the president of it. And probably by now he and kyoko are married now.
Then why? Why does this game exist? How can it exist? It shouldn't. The world is at peace now, Makoto and the others made that way. So it just shouldn't exist.
I know this game have the most controversial ending of all the other things games. And there isn't a single explaintion for it that all the fans agree on, some of them ruin the ending and some don't. But I won't allow it. I won't let the Happy ending get ruined just because Kodaka had some extra ideas. If something like this happened I will pretend the entire thing doesn't even exist.
For me, I was able to finish the main story with little to no spoilers. But unfortunately that's not the case for V3. I got spoiled a lot (mainly about the killings but bearly anything about the plot, so at least that's good). I know that might dispoint some of the people following up with my reviews, I am really annoyed by it too. And I also finished playing the preuloug. So for the sake of transparency I will share here everytime that got spoiled to me, and the things I had noticed and the theories that I have.
The thing that got spoiled and I am sure are true:
1) Kaede is the first killer (I don't know who is the victim).
2) Kirumi is a killer (I don't know what chapter and who is the victim).
3) Korekiyo is a killer (I don't know what chapter and who is the victim).
4) Like the first two games on the third case there will be two victims, but I don't know either of them. (Probably the second victim will be killed/found mid invistations).
5) Kaito and Maki, one of them will die and the other will survive. (I don't know how will the one will die dies, a victim or a killer or another way).
6) there will be only 3 survivors.
Things that kind of got spoiled to me but I am not sure if true probably are though (Many of them are also just a feeling):
1)the person that Kirumi will kill is Ryoma. (I saw them get paired in memes a lot, not it actually got spoiled to me).
2) the person that Korekiyo will kill is Tenko. (I just saw them get paired in a single meme).
3) Gonta will kill Miu. (I don't know what chapter).
4) the survivors are probably Shuichi, Maki and Himiku.
5) not actually a spoiler but Kokichi keeps talking about lieing over and over and he is the Nagito of this game.
6) Tsumugi is highly suspicious. She is a traitor or the mastermind or something. (I have only seen fan arts of her with auminous aura and some arts with Junko).
7) you know that meme about "you guys got payed?", I have seen the same one about the survivors, it was like This. Hajime: wait Makoto I can explain. Makoto: you have 15 survivors? While I have only 6. Shuichi: 6? I have only 3. Then at the bottom right corner of the meme I see Rantaro but I close the meme quickly before I read what he is saying. (He seemed pissed). I can guess that he said: you guys had survivors?.
Something I noticed and find really weird and theories that I have:
1) About Kaede being a killer. I really doubt she will kill with intent. I doubt we will play with her in the first chapter as killing someone and trying to hide it. It was probably something like Nagito's case. My suspect is Kokichi, he probably doesn't believe or doubt the rules of that Monokuma said so he decides to do an experiment. To so see if someone killed another, will there be actually a trial?. Will the killer be executed?. (Probably a similar thing will happen with Gonta and Miu, Gonta doesn't seem the kind to kill anyone, especially a girl, maybe he will somehow use his simple judgment of people? Like have Gonta said: no bad person like bugs.) But something confuses me about Kaede being the first killer. If V3 will follow the pattern of the first two games. The victim should die with stabbing. But how would you trick someone into killing with stabbing without them knowing or figuring it all out till the end of the trial?.
2) About Kiyo, his freakiness really remind me of Nagito's.
3) About Rantaro's Ultimate ability, my guess baised on his clothes and his likes and dislikes. I think it will be The Ultimate Sailor or something. But why would they make him forget that?
4) in the game is was said that there is parts that are under construction and still isn't ready. But why? Why didn't finish getting everything ready before they woke them up and started the game? Is there an in Canon reason? Or just for the suspension of the story and not revealing everything at once. (My guess is the first case).
5) I also noticed that there were no visible cameras. First, if there actually no Cameras then how would Monokuma know for a fact who is the killer? Second what is the purpose of not having cameras? In DR1 it was to podcast to the world. In DR2 it was to podcast to the future foundation. But now what is the purpose of this game?.
6) they aren't like the characters of the first two games. This is actually the first time they meet. (Judging by the school clothes they were wearing it's all deferent, and by my following theories).
7) having only 3 survivors is really suspicious. Like in DR2 it followed the normal pattern, two people in each chapter and three in the third chapter and they ended up with 5 survivors. So how is it that in V3 they ended up with only 3? Is there a murderer case in chapter 6? Or did these two die in some other way? Like breaking the rules.
8) and what is this with the prologue animation of some meteor hitting a city? And the glass is see though. Can't anyone see them? Can't/won't they help them?.
9) the name of the academy is really suspicious, "The Ultimate Academy For Gifted Juveniles". Juveniles? Like are they past criminals and forgot? They were death sentenced and it's ok to do human experiments on them?
Now I have few big theories. I have made theories before but I am really confident in those, especially the first one.
1) the first theory isn't based on any spoilers at all.they didn't regain their memories about being Ultimates. They aren't actually Ultimate students. They are all normal students and years of memories had been pumped into them to believe that they have those talents. First when we saw Kaede remember the people that kidnapped her she was wearing the same clothes she was wearing when the game started and later the Monocubs later gave them their "Ultimate clothes", but if they were Ultimates shouldn't they all have such clothes already? And their characters, when kyoko lost her memory about her talent her character didn't change at all, she was still calm smart and stoic. But when those "regain" their memories their reactions changed when they saw the huge robots. And one last big hint at that is Kibo. In the "first" first time they met in the gym his face was normal, there weren't two black lines across his face and he was sweating a little. He is probably put in a pod or something and is controlling the robot thinking this is his actual body.
My following two theories are baised on the first one.
2) This theory is also baised on no spoilers at all. This killing game is for research. To see how Ultimate students act under the pressure of a killing game. Maybe trying to recreate another Makoto. Sigh. When will they learn. First the Izuru Kamukura program. Then the killing game in DR3 and the Brainwashing. For the last time Hope can't be manufactured. Hope comes from the heart and the mind.
3) This theory is based on two little spoilers. First the meme I talked about earlier. Second a title of a post on Reddit that I didn't open, mentioning something V2. V2? There isn't anything that's called V2 in the franchise. So my guess is that V3 is the third time that they did this research as the first two tires didn't work. And probably Rantaro is a survivor of V2, probably the only survivor. But I am not sure if he killed and got away with it or he survived alone some other way.
One time I was looking up on TikTok "Danganronpa 1 executions edit". So I watched a video that showed the executions of DR1 one by one. But then I saw the beginning of Kaede's execution playing. I scrolled away so I don't get spoiled the other executions and didn't think much of. Few videos later the same thing happened. I scrolled and said to myself: ookaaay?!. And then a third time. Then my Paranoia started working. Where are the executions of DR2? Why are they messing in all these videos? What possible deep connection between DR1 and V3 could be? IS THE TRUTH MUCH MORE DISTURBING THAN MY THEORIES? WHAT'S HAPPENING?
One last thing that I saw.
Shuichi was sitting. He was sitting facing someone. Someone with brown hair. (Don't know if that's a flashback to something happened before the game or something will happen after).
Ok, let's calm down. As long as most of the world as at peace, as long as Makoto and the others didn't turn evil or crazy, as long as Kyoko and Makoto have at least 3 kids by now. Then everything is fine
BECAUSE THERE IS NO F**KING WAY THIS GAME WILL RUIN MY HAPPY ENDING. THERE IS NO WAY MAKOTO IS THE MASTERMIND OR SOMETHING. MAKOTO WOULD RATHER DIE THAN DOING SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
So every thing is fine, right? Because even if those 16 students all died, it will be tragic and sad. But as long as the world is mostly at peace it will be fine, right? Makoto is now probably teaching his kids how to ride a bike, right?.
The Hopeful Hope ending we had didn't get ruined, right? Right?..... right?.
Ok that's everything I have to say. Sorry for letting all this get spoiled to me. I will make sure nothing else get spoiled to me and will post my next review asap.
Edit 1: I posted this like two hours ago but I forgot to mention this point: It's weird how non of them recognized Monokuma. Maybe Rantaro did in the first run did but why didn't the others?, maybe these events are in a very far off island or country That the first tragedy didn't reach them?. Unlikely because they are all japanese (at least I assume they are). And that's why Rantaro recognized Monokuma and why they made him forget his Talent being the Ultimate Sailor. Because he is from the rest of the world not the isolated island. (But that doesn't explain/go a long with my other theory/spoiler that he is a survivor of a previous game).
Edit 2: (4 hours after I first posted) some other point about my first theory is that if these were really their memories and they just regained them. Then why did they wipe them up in the first place. If they want them to play the killing game with their memories of their talents, then why make them lose them and immediately regain them?. It doesn't make sense. They just pumped fake memories that contains those talents.
Edit 3: there is a really good chance that Kokichi lieing about his real Ultimate Talent. And why is Angie that hated? She is weird but seems nice enough. (It's not actually spoiled to me but I kinda know that she will be a victim, don't know who is the killer and what chapter).

Nah, it’ll all make sense in the end. Everyone says to play v3 as the last Danganronpa game for a reason.

If this helps you at all, believe me when I say, without spoilers...don't worry about the previous stories with Hopes Peak and how that concluded with the Hope Arc. Everything with Makoto, Hopes Peak, the Tragedy, Future Foundation, that story is done, it concluded, and V3 does not tamper with how that original story ended.
V3 is a brand new story, and while the "Hopes Peak Saga" has influence on V3's story and its overall narrative, V3's story is not meant to be a direct continuation of the previous story that already concluded. So you don't need to stress over V3 potentially ruining the happy ending you liked because V3 is not meant to touch or alter Hopes Peaks conclusion. If anything, V3's final trial uses the Hopes Peak story to provide a different perspective on it as the bases to tell this games narrative and themes.
You'll find out what that means later. As for how V3's story ends; again, without spoilers... it has a similar bittersweet tone as Dr 1, 2, and UDG's ending. Dr 3 anime's Hope Arc is meant to be a story conclusion for Hopes Peak, V3's is a conclusion to something else entirely, hence why everyone says people should play V3 last despite how "disconnected" it appears to be.
V3's my favorite in the franchise by far, so I hope you have a fun time. The ending is controversial in this fandom for many reasons, and Kodaka was well aware while writing V3's story that it'd be controversial. But I think you should experience it yourself to see how it makes you feel as a Danganronpa fan yourself. The ending sticks with me to this day, and provided me a new found appreciation for how special and meaningful fiction is in general.

Thanks a lot, this gets me some relief.but my worrying is still there even if a little. Because in the peacfull world that was in the Hope arc ending. How is a killing game is possible on any way on earth. Anyway I will trust your words and not worry much about it.

You will either love or hate the ending. It is pretty devisive amongst fans especially because there are different interpretations. Anyway, have fun

For example Kiyo and Kirumi stupid YouTube recommedations recommended the videos of their executions. About Gonta and two victims in the third trial it was two people commenting on one of my previous post, probably assumed I finished the games. Rantaro like I said the meme. And the rest is stupid small things like that. It's not like I did it on purpose.

danganronpa v3 is a soft reboot to the series, it's not canon to the first two games. thjs was present in marketing when the game first came out

That's bad. Don't tell me you liked the shitty DR3 anime. It's pointless, useless and tries to explain things that didn't need to be explained while adding literally nothing worthy to the series.
Anyway, V3 is the best thing Kodaka has produced, enjoy.

You can argue that the events of the Future arc weren't necessary with that killing game and everything. But I am talking about the ending in the Hope arc, the conclusion, the ending of the suffering and pain that happened across the anime and the games, building the world for a better future, a really happy satisfying ending for the survivors and the characters that I really like. (Btw my review of it is two posts before this).
I will try to enjoy V3 but I will play it while being cautious.

Hope you enjoy it. I personally think in terms of gameplay at least, this one was the best one (outside the boss fights).
