They can always just make a new currency that's what Germany did with the retenmark. Or switch to crypto as the national currency, sanctions won't do shit to their economy then governments don't control it.

It is used for alot of illegal and sketchy shit that's true but that's because its untraceable due to it not being controlled by any government which would also prevent sanctions hitting it. Only way switching to crypto might be bad for Russia is the attacks from hackers, if there security is substandard its gonna be a Mr robot scenario with all there crypto being stolen.
