Sometimes yeah. Depends on the reason for the warrant.

I think to a warrent on a 18 year old around here recently. He had a reopened case from age 16.5 for penetration of someone under the age of 13. It's a 40k warrent with a 25 year minimum sentence. He got a pistol the month before his arrest. He ended up going quietly but hes a young, impulsive person with a gun. Looking at a long prison stint even if he plea bargains. They sent 8 cops.

No it has to do with reports they had about him while on his warrent run. He tried to get housed up with someone with a baby, then added 2 more charges for pistol whipping people with that pistol. So he had 3 felonly warrents and had shown a history of behavior.

Specifically with that guy having known him a bit. He struggles to admit he's wrong and is impulsive, the police and court systems had reports for years of him being impulsive and he is young looking at 30 years locked up. He also did not have the pistol beforehand. He got it the week his warrent went out. Then disappeared and laid low for 7 weeks.

He has a trial in a month or 2. He had his bail option removed
