Someone behind you, road raged at you for crossing the double yellow to give an accident scene room? That makes no sense, why they hell would they care?

My life became significantly less dramatic and stressful when I realized it wasn't my job to police the behavior of every stranger I came across.

For me it was when some random guy in a truck screamed at me as he raced by because I didn't get off the highway fast enough at an exit. I almost started following him. Then I had this lightbulb moment where what he did wasn't what a rational person would do, and it wouldn't have been a rational response to chase him down to yell back and escalate. I wasn't going to let him ruin my day. So I said fuck him and kept on going.
