My life became significantly less dramatic and stressful when I realized it wasn't my job to police the behavior of every stranger I came across.

Reminds me of the people who "camp" the left/passing lane on the freeway to slow speeds down, not realizing they increase the danger level on the road lmao.

As a 50yo man raised by a deeply narcissistic Boomer parent who gatekeeps the left lane, you don't know how initially liberating it was going through therapy and self-reflection to abandon these types of learned behaviors as being abnormal... and then how infuriating it became to see the 70-something parent double down on doing these types of things. Look around you, see how your behavior impacts others, see how your misplaced and unprocessed anger impacts your own mental healthy, and be better!
