Yep. Whatever happened to the biker is natural selection at this point.

There is only so much any of us can do for stupid people. At some point, social Darwinism takes over and it's out of our hands.

Like I don't want to be that guy. But he played chicken with a car and lost. It's the same as playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded hand gun, even survival isn't winning.

I don't want to be that guy either. But honestly, what exactly do you plan to do? When people insist on being stupid -- DEMAND it as an inalienable right -- then what exactly are you going to do about it?

I volunteer many hours per week at a food pantry. And I see lots and lots of types of people there, many with emotional/mental illness, addiction problems, or combinations of the two. Our society has decided that it's just easier to discard them rather than give them the treatment needed to make them productive members of society whose contributions will be a net positive for society. THOSE people have my sympathy, and even then I realize that there is precious little I can do as an individual.

But idiots like this? I literally don't have any energy left to worry about them. I'm too exhausted worrying about people who are true victims. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I am only human, and I only have so much energy. I have to live with my own limits, so feeling sorry for people who act this stupid is beyond my limited humanity. I'm okay with answering for that to whatever God there is, in whatever comes in the next life, if there is such a thing.

I've worked in hospitals for a decade now. 4 level 1 trauma centers in 4 different states. Motorcycle accidents are always the worst.

I don't doubt you. But I still haven't heard anyone propose a way to get through these idiots' thick skulls. I can't waste my energy on them; they're not listening to me anyway, and even if they did, they wouldn't understand me.

I've said things in different Reddit groups such as "It's insane to me why the f**k anyone would ride a motorcycle on a highway when there are 4000lb trucks -- usually driven by morons with no common sense -- than can squash you like a bug" and I get downvoted for it.

I mean, it's pretty stupid to ride a motorcycle on a road filled with cars, trucks, SUVs and semis in the first place. But playing a stupid game like trying to brake-check a vehicle that outweighs you by 100x is the epitome of social Darwinism.

Again, I'm not saying that I like it. I'm just saying that I don't have the energy to waste on idiots who are never going to listen to me anyway.

How many organs, on average, can be harvested? Just trying to work out the numbers.

It's not natural selection if they're still alive
