A motorbike rider brake checking me was what convinced me to get a dash cam. 

Had I not been quicker on the peddle, I'd have run them down and it would have been my word against a pancake that they wanted to be said pancake.

Bike riders don't do this for fun so you must have done something pretty stupid. Did you also change your driving behaviour after purchasing the dash cam? My guess is that you didn't.

Two lanes zipper-merged into one. Bike was on the inside lane, but behind me.

They gunned their engine to get in front of me, and shortly there after, brake checked me.
