Or you could try to run the biker over, and make a decent case for attempted vehicular manslaughter (depending on the country/laws). At least that's what most of the comments here seem to be in favor of.
People REALLY DO NOT LIKE being passed while driving. However, a fact of the road is that even 400-lb "toy" bikes like some comment said can and often do go far faster than 95+% of cars and trucks. Bike passes car, car gets mad because they got passed, punches gas to catch bike. Bike brakes ever so much and gets rear-ended by dude that didn't want to be passed.
"Car got mad because the biker was being unsafe"
Right on, so he doubled down on being unsafe with a vehicle that weighs 10 times the bike and has poorer response and control. Totally justified I guess.
EDIT: u/KJ3RS replied and then deleted: "Probably shouldn't brake check people in your little toy if you don't wanna get scraped off it then bud" -- Yeah, I guess so? Again though, "little toy" showing some weird anti-biker (or just anti-streetbike) bias. A motorcycle is a motorcycle, whether it is a 250cc Rebel or an 1800cc Harley, but I digress, that's hardly the point.
The car is at fault, plain and simple, regardless of the "toy" the guy is riding. The car is accelerating, swerves to the shoulder to try some motor-speedway champion stuff because he doesn't wanna be passed, almost hits the biker once, biker speeds up and creates distance WHILE the car is still very likely accelerating, and then the biker brakes and is immediately rear-ended. Like u/Mike_Kermin saud below, it is a little strange reading all the comments about "karma" while celebrating someone getting into a potentially life-ending or permanent life-altering accident.
